SOFTBALL DIVISIONS



FARM - Ages 7 - 8
Entry level league of softball where our goal is the teach players the fundamentals of hitting, fielding and throwing along with learning the basic rules of softball.

Hitting:  Coach-pitch the first six pitches and then a tee stand is used
Field Size: Games are played on a 60-foot base path and teams will play 9 players (3 outfielders)
Field Type:  Games are played on a turf or grass/dirt field
Practices:Field practices are 2-3 times per week, starting in March and are approximately 1 - 1.5 hours each, including batting cage time
Games:There are 10 games which start in late March. Game locations vary between North Seattle to Woodinville
Ball Type: 11 inch optic yellow safety softball
Team Formation: Teams are formed randomly by a player agent though, at this level, they do try to accommodate "buddy requests", allowing kids to play with friends and classmates
Post-Season Games:  No post-season tournament
89ERS - Ages 8 - 9
Second tier level league of softball where our goal for the player is to continue to build upon the fundamentals of hitting, fielding and throwing along with learning the basic rules of softball.

Hitting: 1st two innings are coach pitch. Last 4 innings are Kid-pitch until 4 balls or 3 strikes are achieved, then play reverts to coach pitch. There are no base on balls.
Field Size: Games are played on a 60-foot base path and teams will play 9 players (3 outfielders).
Field Type: Games are played on a turf or grass/dirt field
Practices: Field practices are 2-3 times per week, starting in March and are approximately 1 - 1.5 hours each, including batting cage time.
Games:  There are 12 games which start in late March.  Game locations vary between North Seattle to Woodinville.
Ball Type: 11 inch optic yellow hard softball

MINORS  - Ages 9 - 11
Third tier level league of softball where our goal for the player is to continue to build upon the fundamentals of hitting, fielding and throwing along with learning the basic rules of softball.

Hitting:  Kid-pitch only.
Field Size: Games are played on a 60-foot base path and teams will play 9 players (3 outfielders).
Field Type: Games are played on a turf or grass/dirt field
Practices:  Field practices are 3 - 4 times per week, starting in March and are approximately 1 - 1.5 hours each, including batting cage time.
Games: There are 16 - 18 games which start in mid-March.  Game locations vary between North Seattle to Woodinville.
Ball Type:  11 inch optic yellow hard softball
Team Formation:  Teams are formed by player tryout and draft.
Post-Season Games:  There is a post-game tournament.  All girls 9-years old or older on or after January 1st are eligible to apply for All Stars.
    MAJORS - Ages 10 - 12
    Fourth tier level league of softball where our goal for the player is to continue to build upon the fundamentals of hitting, fielding and throwing along with learning the basic rules of softball.

    Hitting:  Kid-pitch only.
    Field Size: Games are played on a 60-foot base path and teams will play 9 players (3 outfielders).
    Field Type:  Games are played on a turf or grass/dirt field
    Practices:  Field practices are 3 - 4 times per week, starting in late March and are approximately 1 - 1.5 hours each, including batting cage time.
    Games:  There are 20 - 24 games which start in mid-March.  Game locations vary between North Seattle to Woodinville.
    Ball Type:  12 inch optic yellow hard softball
    Team Formation:  Teams are formed by player tryout and draft.
    Post-Season Games:  There is a post-game tournament.  All girls 9-years old or older on or after January 1st are eligible to apply for All Stars.
    JUNIORS - Ages 12 - 14

    Fifth tier level league of softball where our goal for the player is to continue to build upon the fundamentals of hitting, fielding and throwing along with learning the basic rules of softball.

    Hitting:  Kid-pitch only.
    Field Size
    : Games are played on a 60-foot base path and teams will play 9 players (3 outfielders).
    Field Type: Games are played on a turf or grass/dirt field
    Practices:  Field practices are 3 - 4 times per week, starting in March and are approximately 1 - 1.5 hours each, including batting cage time.
    Games:  There are 20 - 24 games which start in mid-March, typically including double-headers on Sundays.  Game locations vary between North Seattle to Woodinville.
    Ball Type:  12 inch optic yellow hard softball
    Team Formation:  Teams are formed by player tryout and draft.
    Post-Season Games:  There is a post-game tournament.  All girls are eligible to apply for All Stars.
