2021 Fundraiser and Picture Day

Arrival

Parking at NAF can be challenging, especially on a very busy Saturday. There is a parking lot across the street from NAF, fee is usually $5. Be sure to allow extra time prior to pictures and pack some extra patience. Enjoy the events and view other games *after* your team pictures. Please help us maintain the flow of foot traffic - thank you!


Pictures

ORDER PICTURES

·       All Team Pictures will be located on Field 5 (NW Corner at NAF)

·       Teams will line up on the Sammamish River Trail and will be called up at designated time by Star Images Staff. Access the trail at the SW corner of NAF parking lot (green arrows on map). Please stay slightly off the path, be aware of bicycle and pedestrian traffic. Remember to maintain social distancing, especially from other teams while lining the trail. SEE FUNDRAISER MAP

·       No physical order forms will be collected. All orders must be placed online.

·       Pictures will only be taken individually! Star Images will work their magic to create a Team Picture with each individual picture of players and coaches.

·       After photos, Teams will follow exit path (black arrows on map) to Fundraiser Event on Field 1


Post-Pictures


·       Coaches : Visit Susan Tait at the Picture Check In table once your entire team has assembled, located near the restrooms on the trail (Station 1 on map)

·       Fundraiser Volunteer : All pledge forms and donations to be turned in at time of Team Picture Check In

·       Fundraiser Events : 8 am to 4:30 pm - Located on Field 1 : Run The Bases, Speed Pitch, Accuracy Pitch & Swing for the Fences

·       Silent Auction : 8 am to 4 pm - Located on Left Field Corner of Field 1

·       Event Unlimited Play Wristbands : $10

·       Event wristbands, NBLL spirit wear apparel, blankets and hats will be for sale at Station 3 on map

·       Equipment Swap : Donate or Take! Bring outgrown equipment (cleats, gloves, helmets, apparel, etc) to the Equipment Swap table.

·       Visit our Sponsor Booths as you walk towards the Fundraiser events. Our Sponsors support NBLL all season long, let's show them our appreciation :)

Calling all VOLUNTEERS!!!

Volunteer Sign Up To make our day a smashing success, we need your help! Please take a moment to view our Volunteer Sign Up. Each volunteer opportunity is broken down to a specific station in 1 hour increments. Each station will provide detailed instructions on how to run your station. It will be very straight forward, easy and FUN! NBLL players and siblings can absolutely assist with an adult at each station.

VOLUNTEER STATIONS

Welcome Greeter: Volunteer will stand at NAF main entry gate to direct picture check in and answer any questions.

Sales & Equipment Swap: Fundraiser Wristband sales; sale of current inventory of NBLL spirit wear, hats and stadium blankets. Oversee equipment swap (donate or take used baseball and softball equipment, baseball clothing, cleats, gloves, helmets, catcher gear, etc)

Silent Auction: Oversee silent auction of team baskets and specialty items for bid.

Run The Bases: Participants runs the infield bases, starting and ending at home plate. Volunteer will time each participant with stop watch and record time on white board, listed by division.

Speed Pitch: Participant pitches in Field 1's Right Field bullpen. Volunteer will operate speed gun and record highest speed of 5 pitches on white board, listed by division.

Accuracy Pitch: Participants throw five pitches with ball of choice (baseball, softball or soft baseball), aim for hanging tire. Volunteer will assist participants and observe safety precautions.

Swing for the Fences: Participants can practice their skills with the baseball and softball swing trainer. Volunteer will assist participant and observe safety precautions.

Please Note: The 4pm time slots will be to shut down each station at 4:30pm and assist with clean up for specific station. Kindly plan to arrive a few minutes before your "shift" begins to relieve the volunteer before you. More complete instructions for each station will be provided as well as all equipment needed.
