North Bothell Little League

North Bothell Little League (NBLL) was established in 1995.
The league serves the North Bothell community, with the majority of participants
feeding in to North Creek HS and some to Bothell HS.
NBLL continues to grow and is now the home for more than
450 boys and girls playing baseball and softball between the ages of 4 -16.

NBLL is ran solely on Volunteer Power.
We appreciate our NBLL parents and families who step up to donate their time and
energy to help make our league successful and who have provided a
positive baseball and softball experience to our children.

North Bothell Little League is part of District 8one of 12 little leagues in the district spanning
from Queen Anne in Seattle north to our North Bothell boundaries.

District 8 is one of 13 districts within Washington State Little League

NBLL is proud of our strong partnership and relationship with our 3 north-end little leagues,
Woodinville, Northshore & North Lake
We work together to provide players in our communities the upmost playing experience.

NBLL operates under the National Little League rules and guidelines
NBLL has made only slight modifications to some of the playing rules
in an attempt to enhance the playing experience for our children.

The following is an excerpt from the National Little League organization:
"Little League Baseball and Softball is a program of service to youth. It is geared to provide an outlet of healthful activity and training under good leadership in the atmosphere of wholesome community participation. The movement is dedicated to helping children become good and decent citizens. It strives to inspire them with a goal and to enrich their lives toward the day when they must take their places in the world. It establishes for them rudiments of teamwork and fair play."

Our Values

Champion Positivity

We believe that the best motivator is a positive environment. Effort and learning are praised and overwhelm constructive criticism.  Players are encouraged to tell teammates when they see them do something well, when they see someone improve, and to listen when they have ideas to share.

Show Respect and Sportsmanship

We model and teach respect for rules, opponents, officials, teammates, and our self (ROOTS). All actions from our volunteers, parents, and family members will honor the game above the results on the scoreboard.

Embrace Learning

Development reaches its peak when players are assured that mistakes are OK. They will feel free to pursue mastery when effort and learning take priority over results.

Build Community

Strong relationships can form life-time bonds and community is a path to strength. Relationships are put ahead of winning and participants are asked to resolve conflicts with respect and dignity.

Encourage Mastery and Competition

Our coaches and players compete with others in a way that brings out the best in us and everyone involved. Our teams compete to win and accept the outcome with grace. Coaches teach fundamentals as the foundation for mastery; catered to age and experience of the player.
