Does your player need a waiver to play NBLL?
Spring Season NOTE: NO WAIVER is necessary If you have a player between the league ages of 4-7 yrs old. As of the 2025 Spring Season, a Waiver is NOT required, you may play in the league of your choice. If the player has older siblings they may also follow to your league of choice with NO Waiver requirements and all players will have full eligibility in the league of your choice. You must register all Players at the same time, starting with your youngest so that the older siblings are linked to your younger player in the registration system.
Summer & Fall Ball Season NOTE: Waivers only apply to the Spring Season. NO Waivers are necessary for Summer or Fall Ball Season. Summer and Fall Ball Season is open to everyone, no matter what league boundary you live or go to school in.

If your player is a NBLL Player that has moved out of the NBLL boundary or have moved schools out of the NBLL boundary and wish to continue playing NBLL, this is the waiver you need to fill out. Once you have filled it out email it to [email protected]
OUT OF BOUNDARY PLAYERS that have never lived or gone to school within the NBLL boundaries and are requesting to play NBLL instead of their home league will require a LL Charter Committee Waiver Request. This could be a temporary or permanent waiver for the entire little league career of the player. The player may request Full Eligibility with NBLL which will allow the player to be considered for a NBLL All Stars roster spot, should the player wish to do so.
Parent/Guardian Steps:
A formal written request from the parents or guardian will be needed that includes the following information (on a word doc or pdf, in a professional presentation, Example Letter):
- Player Name
- Player Birthdate
- Player's home address
- Player's school name
- Division of Play
- Past participation with NBLL (if applicable)
- The reason for the waiver request
- If you are requesting Full Eligibility, don't forget to note that in your request.
- Email formal request to [email protected]
** Should the NBLL Board of Directors approve the waiver, the family will need to obtain a release of the player from the home league, if denied the league must give a reason. Please download the linked form to send to the home league to request a release. Player Release Request Form
NBLL Board of Director Steps:
Once the above formal letter is received, NBLL will start the waiver process with the following steps:- Approval or denial from the NBLL Board of Directors, if denied, the league must give a reason
- If the waiver is approved by the NBLL Board of Directors and the Home League releases the player, the request will be sent to the District 8 Administrator for approval.
