Tee Ball - Ages 4, 5, and 6yrs old (Co-ed)
Entry level division where the goal is to teach players the FUNdamentals of hitting, fielding and throwing along with learning the basic rules of baseball and softball. The Tee Ball experience is grounded in fun, fitness, and fundamentals, the key to growing a child’s love for the game.
Hitting: Players will hit the ball off a tee stand.
Field Size: Games are played on a 60-foot base path
Field Type: Games are played on dirt/grass or turf fields
Practices: (2) 1 hr Activities per week (i.e. 2 practices or 1 practice / 1 game), (1) Practice will be on a Weekday, up to coach on which weekday ; there are no batting cage time for this level
Games: There are 8 Saturday games. Games are 1 hour or 4 innings maximum, whichever comes first. No scores are reported.
Ball Type: Soft dimple T-Ball ball
Team Formation: Teams formed at this level are based on "buddy requests", school groups and/or neighborhood groups, allowing kids to play with friends and classmates. Team Rosters of 10-11 players.
End of Season Jamboree: a 2 game (30min each) Jamboree at Tambark Ballfields where all teams come together to play games on all 4 corners of the field and celebrate the season.
